The capital of Egypt was founded in the 10th century, but the area where Cairo is located today has been significant place already thousands of years ago. It was here, where the battle between Egyptian gods for supremacy over Egypt took place and where the ancient Egyptians used to quarry stone for the pyramids construction. In the city of thousands of minarets, we will see the Egyptian National Museum, where treasures from the Tutankhamun tomb are being stored. Then we will visit the only surviving ancient wonder of the Seven Wonders of the World – the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Then we will see the perfume factory and the papyrus museum, where you can buy unique souvenirs.
